Costco has just announced the new family size for its Kirkland brand deli meat which will now come in a convienient 13 year pack. Assuming a family of four will eat one pound of meat per person each week, this will last from the time their kids enter kindergarten until they graduate high school. Costco ships this item directly to the home, as it weights 2,912 pounds or slightly more than a Toyota Corolla. It also includes six chest freezers to preserve the meat and a small aluminum shed to house the freezers. The product will be available in both honey glazed ham and smoked mesquite turkey flavors.
